Presentation Guidelines


Presenters must remain within their allotted presentation length. The allocated time for Oral Presentations is 15 minutes; including 12 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for questions.

Powerpoint presentations should be brought to the conference on a USB and be PC compatible. There will be no facility to allow individual speakers to hook-up their own laptops, including Apple Macintosh users. Your presentation should be loaded onto the presentation laptop and tested prior to your session (during the registration time, coffee breaks or lunch time) to ensure they run smoothly without delay. Both session rooms will be equipped with a projector screen (16:9 aspect ratio) and a laptop with Mircosoft Powerpoint and Adobe PDF reader.

Please arrive at the session room at least 10 minutes before the start of the session to introduce yourself to the Session Chair.



Each poster will be displayed on a free standing panel. Posters should be A0 (1190 mm x 840 mm) paper in Portrait Orientation. The poster should be clearly visible 1.5m away from the panel to ensure it can be read. Velcro dots will be provided to attach your poster to the board.

Your presentation space will be identified by a card with your paper ID number of it. Please display your poster during the day (Monday or Wednesday) of your Poster presentation, all posters must be removed at the end of your Poster Session. Posters left after this time will be removed and disposed of.
